Elisabeth Holm, University of the Faroe Islands, presented to The Role of Universities in Addressing Societal Challenges and Fostering Democracy: Inclusion, Migration, and Education for
Citizenship, Conference , hosted online by the University of Akureyri, Iceland March 25th – 26th, 2021. Elisabeth’s paper was entitled” ‘Language learning and migration: Voices from blue-collar workplaces in the Faroe Islands’ and was developed from her doctoral research at Heriot Watt University, Scotland.
