On Wednesday the programme featured a night of island poetry and music  –Oidhche bhàrdachd is chiùil –  with Aonghas MacNeacail, Allan MacDonald, Meg Bateman, John Purser, Mary Ann Kennedy, Decker Forrest, Màiri Sìne Chaimbeul, and Sgoil Chiùil na Gàidhealtachd, MC: Mark Wringe.

Thursday and Friday offered  two full days of  academic papers, panel discussions, readings, island film screening, and exhibitions. On Saturday 18th June, and in association with Urras Dualchas Ratharsair,  the island studies focus moved to Sorley’s  birthplace, the island of Raasay  for a full day of walks, talks, music and poetry.
